Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer, and singer. She is an attractive, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances on popular TV shows, she achieved fame after joining the crew of the cult comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles on the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and other films. Her next performance was a dazzling performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the meanwhile, she was also in the lead role in a few film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a small role that did not have any effect.
