Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a writer. She is best known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and appeared in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 1977. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who is an artist. The father of her is Jewish as is her mom. She was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up in an Reform synagogue in Alabama. After Buffy ended Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked in writing for her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in 2010. Buffy states that she's found and counted at least 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom collaborate with members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers can be active after their potential is mature enough. Soledad for example became an Slayer at age sixteen. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for the upcoming season of 10 Supernatural. She is apparently an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
