In the midst of the corn, potatoes and wheat which are cultivated on the vast and sprawling farmlands of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic athletes, made an appearance. Wilson was a professional sports performer following her and her boyfriend went to WCW on the backstage. Scott Steiner invited her to take part in his ring. She was a part of the business for more than 10 years. In addition to competing in WCW, Wilson was also managing competitors such as David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals and Shane Douglas. Wilson joined WWE in the spring of 2001, following the acquisition of WCW. A combination of her sporting ability and passion for entertainment helped make Wilson an ideal choice for WWE in a period when WWE was in its most active period. Wilson was an integral figure for WCW during the rise of WWE because of her association with Stacy Keibler (her partner and sometimes adversaries). Wilson joined the WWE women's division shortly after the invasion by WCW. Her rivalries included Keibler Sable Melina. Family members were also in danger when she took on Dawn Marie for their honor.
