Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. She is most well-known for her performance in House which airs on Fox. Born in Wayne within a conservative Jewish tradition, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theatre at Tisch School of Arts. She was very active in the nightlife scene in New York City and did enough that she was noticed in the press. While doing so she became more aware of AIDS its devastating consequences. Her experience and fame, along with her personal training to both write and host a television show titled Positive Me. Awake on the Wild Side was her next assignment. After the show was finished the actress went on to do film and TV productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get small parts and established herself slowly as an actress.
